Environmental Education
Concordia University's Environmental Education program is designed for practicing educators who want to further develop their knowledge of the Earth's environment to increase students' understanding and knowledge within a classroom setting.
Studies focus on three key concepts: how to investigate and learn about the environment, developing an understanding of humans' interaction with the environment, and why stewardship of our Earth is important. Courses include:
- A Study of the Environment: Past and Present
- Current Environmental Issues
- Teaching Environmental Education
- Transformative Learning and Environmental Education
The Environmental Education degree endeavors to uphold high quality and rigor while still maintaining flexibility. Therefore, students in this year-long online program can complete all coursework when and where it's convenient for them.
