Career and Technical Education (CTE)
Built upon the fact that many public high schools and undergraduate postsecondary institutions offer career and technical education, Concordia University's Career and Technical Education program provides access to these teaching positions.
Designed for current or prospective professional technical teachers, curriculum focuses on the application of transformative education in career and technical programs through the use of technology, current career options and essential teaching skills. Courses include:
- An Overview of Career and Technical Education
- Transformative Teaching in Career and Technical Education
- CTE Program Administration and Supervision
- CTE Community Development and Workforce Competencies
Furthermore, as an online program offering, students can complete coursework when and where they choose, as long as deadlines are met. Concordia University's goal within our one-year online programs is to provide quality, intensive education in a convenient format.
